Naomi Silverman is the Director of Development at the SoAR Foundation. She joined SoAR after five years with the Sustainable Food Center in Austin, Tex., where she lead the organization’s fundraising and communications to improve healthy food access and support local agriculture in Central Texas. 

Naomi holds a BA in Community Studies with an emphasis in Agriculture & Food Justice from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Culinary Degree from the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts. 

Naomi's prior work includes fundraising at Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley, teaching plant-based cooking classes, and leading efforts to make her workplaces more equitable and inclusive.
