Marcus Glassman is a nonresident fellow at the Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation and the Director of Policy Engagement at the Ecosystem Services Market Consortium (ESMC).

Prior to ESMC, Glassman served as Vice President of Programs at the SoAR Foundation where he led SoAR's work in global agriculture policy, international development, and climate adaptation research. 

An epidemiologist by training, he has an extensive background in global agricultural and development policy across the research, philanthropy, and advocacy sectors. Glassman is an alumnus of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and USDA Agricultural Research Service. He holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Purdue University.
