Mr. Marcus Glassman
Marcus Glassman is the Vice President for Programs at the Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation leading the foundation's portfolio of agricultural research and policy initiatives, both global and domestic. Glassman joined SoAR in 2021 as a Program Officer and previously served as SoAR's Program Director for International Policy and Programs where he led SoAR's work in global agriculture policy, international development, and climate adaptation research.
An epidemiologist by training, he has an extensive background in global agricultural and development policy across the research, philanthropy, and advocacy sectors. Glassman is an alumnus of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and USDA Agricultural Research Service. He holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Purdue University.
